Not alot of knitting has been going on lately due to crazy family stuff, but I did start Silver's Sock Class. I cast-on and pulled off for that dang sock about 50 times! I finally decided to just join the Cuff-Down Sock Class at my LYS. Here is the yarn I picked. Lorna's Laces Shetland Sport in the Sandridge colorway.



Here is my sock so far, I was accidently knitting on the inside instead of the outside, (or the outside instead of the inside, i still don't know) so that created a hole. I realize that my first sock isnt going to be perfect so I am not too worked up about it. I am just happy for all the new skills I've learned in this class (knitting in the round on dpn's, knitting the heel and turning the heel.)



And here is what was supposed to be Natalie's birthday jacket, but it wasnt finished, or even barely finished, in time.
